Vores mission / Our Mission

Vores mission er at bidrage til en bæredygtig verden hvor vi ikke nedbryder vores planet, men lever i overensstemmelse med økosystemet, bringer mere lykke ind i verden og skaber en social balance i vores verdenssamfund.

For at realisere vores vision om ‘En bæredygtig fremtid’ er vi på nuværende tidspunkt i gang med to projekter som skal udgøre fundamentet for vores arbejde:
Det ene er et feltarbejde i det nordlige Colombia omkring udvikling som er både socialt og miljømæssigt bæredygtigt. Selve feltarbejdet skal foregå i et kaffekooperativ som lokalbefolkningen selv har skabt. De producerer økologisk- og Fair Trade-certificeret kaffe og deres tilgang til bæredygtig udvikling har en positiv indvirkning både lokalt og globalt. På baggrund af vores analyse af kooperativets helhedstilgang vil vi udarbejde rapport, guidelines og interaktivt materiale, som kan danne baggrund for et fokus på, samt udbredelse af, bæredygtig udvikling.
Det andet projekt foregår også i Colombia, hvor vi er ved at bygge en skole i nationalparken Los Farallones de Cali, der både skal danne baggrund for undervisning og oplysning om bæredygtig udvikling og alternativer til fældning af regnskoven, samt være en platform for at vise folk bæredygtige alternativer i form af den måde stedet bliver drevet på. Stedet er baseret på vand- og solenergi og der indsamles genbrugstræ som byggemateriale og der er basis for at tilbyde jobalternativer til lokale, som ellers er beskæftiget med at rydde regnskov.

Disse to projekter er udgangspunktet for vores passion for en bæredygtig verden og håber at mange vil følge og støtte vores arbejde.

Our mission is contributing to a sustainable world where we do not degrade our planet but live in accordance to the ecosystem, bring more happiness into our world and create a social balance in our world community.

To realise our mission about ‘A Sustainable Future’ we are at this point working on two projects which will be the basis of our work:

One is a fieldwork we are preparing to carry out in northern Colombia on socially and environmentally sustainable developent. The fieldwork will be done in a coffee-cooperative which is orgaincally and Fair Trade ceritfied and which has a positive effect both locally and globally with their approach to sustainable development. On the basis of our analysis of their approach we will produce a report, guidelines and interactive materiale which will be the foundation for bringing foucs to, and spreading, sustainable development.

 The other project is building a school in the National Park Los Farallones de Cali, which both will be the basis of education and information on sustainable development and, futhermore, a platform for showing sustainable alternatives in the way the place is run. The site is based on water- and solarenergy and reused wood is gathered for building on the site. And there is basis for offering jobalternatives to those otherwise employed in the timberindustry that cuts the forest.

These two projects are our starting point for our commitment to a sustainable future and it is our wish that many will follow and support our work.
